Talkin 'bout taxes

Liberal friends refuse to see the wisdom of the administration's tax policy?

Maybe they're right.  President Bush should have cut taxes even more while he still had the chance.

Good News for the Budget

Howdy!

Here goes the inaugural post of yours truly's humble blog.

We'll start with some great news: have you heard about last week's Congressional Budget Office report which projects that (thanks in part to the administration's tax cuts) next years federal budget deficit figure will fall to roughly $80 billion?

A quick glance at the 2006 deficit amount reveals that's a sixty percent reduction of our annual deficit over only two years!

see CBO link below...

Of course, Speaker Pelosi and comrade Reid still refuse to make permanent the tax cuts which are likely responsible for the vast increase in tax revenues taken in by Uncle Sam.  Of course, when one of your calling cards is whining about the deficit and blaming Republicans for it, why help them eliminate it?

Perhaps Nancy and Harry just see no reason to slap one of the hands that fed them last November.

Tomorrow, I'll post my published column offering further analysis.
